בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה’, אֱלֹהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם, אֲשֶׁר בִּדְבָרוֹ מַעֲרִיב עֲרָבִים בְּחָכְמָה, פּוֹתֵחַ שְׁעָרִים בִּתְבוּנָה, מְשַׁנֶּה עִתִּים וּמַחֲלִיף אֶת הַזְּמַנִּים, וּמְסַדֵּר אֶת הַכּוֹכָבִים בְּמִשְׁמְרוֹתֵיהֶם בָּרָקִיעַ כִּרְצוֹנוֹ, בּוֹרֵא יוֹמָם וָלַיְלָה, גּוֹלֵל אוֹר מִפְּנֵי חֹשֶׁךְ וְחֹשֶׁךְ מִפְּנֵי אוֹר, הַמַּעֲבִיר יוֹם וּמֵבִיא לַיְלָה, וּמַבְדִּיל בֵּין יוֹם וּבֵין לָיְלָה. ה’ צְבָאוֹת שְׁמוֹ. בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה’, הַמַּעֲרִיב עֲרָבִים
Barukh Attah Aḍonai Elohénu melekh ha‘olam, asher biḍṿaro ma‘ariṿ ‘araṿim, beḥokhmah, poṭéaḥ she‘arim, biṭṿunah, meshanneh‘ittimumaḥalif eṭ–hazemannim umsaddér eṭ– hakokhaṿim bemishmeroṭéhem barakia’ kirtsono. Boré yomam valaylah, golél or mipené ḥoshekh, veḥoshekh mipené or. Hama‘aṿir yom uméṿi laylah, umaṿdil bén yom uṿén laylah, Aḍonai Tseṿa-oṭ shemo. Barukh Attah Aḍonai hama‘ariṿ ‘araṿim.
Translation: Blessed are You, YHVH, our Elohim, Sovereign of the Universe, who through Your word evens evenings with wisdom, who opens gates with understanding, who changes seasons and progresses time, and organises the stars into their night watches through Your will. You create day and night, rolling away light before darkness, and darkness before light. You pass on day and bring on night, differentiating between day and night, YHVH of Legions is Your name. Blessed are You, YHVH, who evens the evenings.
