Songs, Skills & Stories for Fighting Fascism

Sunday March 29th, 3:30 - 5 CT | Virtual & Free

For the past three months, the Twin Cities have been a testing ground for the rise of fascism through Operation Metro Surge, the largest immigration enforcement operation in U.S. history. From intricate mutual aid systems, to utilizing singing as a form of resistance, to highly effective rapid response networks, and so much more, neighbors have shown up in droves to support neighbors targeted by the operation. Join voices on the ground in Minneapolis for an afternoon of song, stories and skills to strengthen our collective capacity to respond to these times. We’ll be grounding in song and sharing lessons learned along the way. Featuring Ricardo Levins Morales, R. Jessica Rosenberg, Margot Seigle, Bex Klafter, Miri Villerius, Kestrel Feiner-Homer, and Kohenet Riv Shapiro.
